What actually is a Juggernaut?


The word means: "A massive inexorable force that seems to crush everything in its way"
Interestingly, this common noun is derived from the god Jagannatha (जगन्नाथ) - Lord of the world (जग के नाथ) - and is being used all over the world!

The word is derived from the huge Rath Yatra for Lord Jagannath in Puri which is pulled by a lot of people and is quite unstoppable in that it doesn't stop till it reaches it destination no matter what...
